Since I'm really into gradient glasses (you may remember I even briefly experimented with them last year), I decided on this pair. They shipped out super quickly and when they arrived, I was pleasantly surprised to find that they were not a repeat of my previous disappointments. In fact, this is the most successful pair of glasses I've ever gotten from an online store. Although they are obviously not on the level of my everyday Prada glasses (which sadly cost well over $600 for the fancy lenses), I can see quite well out of these and am happy I now have a backup pair of glasses that I can wear when I want to mix things up a bit.

If you haven't ordered from Firmoo before, they have tons of fashionable frames that cost next to nothing, plus an awesome First Pair Free for New Customers deal. Check out their FAQ section for more information!
They look great on you! I personally hate my current glasses, but they are so expensive to replace!
ReplyDeleteI know exactly what you're talking about, Alison! I have dreams of ordering multiple pairs of glasses from Warby Parker, where everything is supposed to cost $99... but add in my prescription and suddenly the price jumps to $300! I'm very impressed you managed to get a pair of decent prescription lenses from an online shop - and the gradient frame is pretty :)

I know... I've actually tried Warby Parker before but they just didn't work out. So sad :(
DeleteLOVE this outfit! I've been wanting to try gradient frames as well, but I currently don't think I need a new pair (plus lenses can get so expensive!).
ReplyDeleteThose glasses are wonderful! They look fantastic on you.

You look really great in glasses! I don't suit them one bit, so I've never actually bought any --- even though I need them... Always so jealous of people like you ;)

I'm jealous of people who can get by without needing them!
DeleteThose glasses look amazing on you! I could never pull those off.
ReplyDeleteLove the outfit too!
These look great on you! I had problems ordering prescription glasses from clearlycontacts because of my ridiculously high prescription. If you had a good experience, makes me want to give Firmoo a try. I've seen quite a few bloggers writing about them lately as well.

I've found the only place I can get perfect lenses for my prescription is Lenscrafters because of that fancy contraption they use to measure your eyes. Even when I've gone to high-end opticals I've ended up being dissatisfied. Can't go wrong with the first pair free here though... even if it doesn't work out, at least the glasses cost nothing!
DeleteThe shape really suits your face! I love the gradient as well. I don't need glasses (I have Ray Bans for distance) but I love the idea of shopping for frames!
ReplyDeleteThey look really good on you. The shape suits you very well.

Those glasses look great on you! I'm loving the mix of textures in your outfit too, with the faux fur, snake print and wool.

You look gorgeous in those glasses! They really look fabulous on you. I wear glasses whenever I'm getting a little tired and especially when it's dark outside, and I really have the hardest time finding frames that look good on my face. So glad you had a great experience with Firmoo.

The frames look great on you! I have an annoyingly high prescription too...so it's very difficult to find frames that I find attractive and functional! Luckily, lenses are getting thinner every year!

They look lovely! I recently ordered a pair of glasses online (not firmoo) and was relieved that there was an option out there besides insanely expensive optometrists and their fees.
ReplyDeleteLove the outfit too btw!
