Leopard Print Love

When I was younger, I used to think animal print was kind of tacky but lately I've found myself really embracing it - leopard print in particular. The lining was what first drew me to this camel blazer, which is perfect for the warmer weather and can easily be dressed up or down.

Camel Blazer: Zara / Tank: Wilfred / Bandage Skirt: Talula
Tights: Urban Outfitters / Boots: Aldo / Pashmina: gift from Hong Kong

I don't think I'm quite ready to wear full-on leopard print, but subtle touches of it are nice. I decided to experiment with some leopard print nails that I've been seeing on a lot of other bloggers. For a first attempt they turned out okay but I realized afterwards that I should have used brown instead of white for the inside of the spots. I'll have to try it the "right" way next time!

  1. I felt the same about animal prints but have also started to change my mind. I lean more towards bits of snakeskin print though.

    Great outfit & lovely nails!

  3. @April Now that you mention it, I have really been liking snakeskin print too! Funny how our tastes can change so easily...

@FashionableAsians Zara really does have the best blazers and at such affordable prices. I'm sure your nails will turn out great! I thought mine looked kind of weird but people seemed to know it was leopard print so maybe I was being too hard on myself ;)

  14. @bebemui It was $89.90 and you can find it on the Zara website here.

@MissA* You just reminded me that I have a leopard print scarf too... I think that would have been overkill on this outfit though!

  17. Animal print has grown on me too, I used to hate it years ago. I think it used to be associated with tackiness. Also would love to see a tutorial on how you did the leopard print nails, I'm dying to try it :)
