Strawberry Fields

A few weekends ago, my boyfriend and I ventured out to Langley to pick strawberries at Driediger Farms. Typically, nature and I are not the best of friends, but I do love fresh fruit. Plus, it's super cheap if you pick the berries yourself (only $1.50 a pound) and makes for a fun summer activity.

Tanktop: TNA (Aritzia) / Skirt: Lost & Found (Spank Clothing)
Fedora: Urban Outfitters (different colour) / Sunglasses: Vogue (here)

In total, we brought home almost 7 pounds of strawberries plus some fresh pie and raspberries (which you can also pick when they're in season).

And in other news, I am writing my Bar Exams this week! Seems like just yesterday I was starting the Professional Legal Training Course, and now all of a sudden it's almost August. Crazy how fast time flies. Wish me luck!!

    1. I know, people seem to eat while they're picking so it's like extra raspberries for them!

    1. HAHA, it was a bit of a drive so we had to make it worth it. We froze a lot of them to use for smoothies and other things.

    1. I didn't know what the proper attire should be, haha! Next time I think I'd wear pants/leggings because the bushes are kind of prickly... but then it's also really hot so it's a toss-up!

  11. I totally laughed at your comment about not being the best of friends with nature because that's how I feel too! But strawberry picking is fun and it's on my bucket list to do this summer. Glad you had a great time and looked cute while doing it! Good luck with your bar exam!
