What else have been up to lately? Well, in addition to preparing for my impending trip to Europe (in less than 2 weeks!), much of the past month has been occupied by Canucks games and spending time at some favourite food & drink spots around Vancouver.
Catching a game at The Commodore
A whole potato spiraled on a skewer dipped in your choice of topping = heaven on a stick at Night Market in Richmond
I've been obsessed with the white wine sangria at Steamworks
Japanese tapas at Hapa Izakaya
Patio drinks at The Mill in Coal Harbour
My first time at La Casa Gelato, where there are over 200 different flavours of gelato - including Curry Peanut Butter, Balsamic Vinegar, and Garlic!
Sunday afternoon tea at The T Room
I'm obsessed with Cream of Earl Grey Tea (this tin's from Davids Tea)
The Hurricane potato looks so much thicker & crispier than last years. I can't wait to get my hands on one or 6 this summer.
ReplyDelete@Ashley I am seriously LOL-ing at your comment right now. I totally agree... 1 is simply not enough. 6 is just the right amount! :D

Oh my gosh, you're a girl after my own heart! White wine sangria, gelato and the beach are all pretty much my favourite things ever (if you'd added in a photo of nutella I would be showing up on your doorstop!) And the Cream of Earl Grey tea?? I HAVE THAT PHOTO TOO! I was so excited when I picked up my last tin of this heavenly stuff that I snapped a pic, it's the best tea out there!
ReplyDeleteGlad to find a kindred spirit! xx
@GIRL AND CLOSET Ah, I vaguely remember hearing about a drive-in theatre in Langley - thanks for the confirmation!
ReplyDelete@Jen The most "adventurous" flavour I tried was candied ginger & mango. Garlic and kimchi = ewww!! I live in Kits!
CINDY My bf actually ended up getting the Death by Mango. It was YUMMY!

David's Tea kicks ass, LOVE :D My favourite so far is Creme Brulee with Long Life oolong coming in at a close 2nd. It tastes and smells like fuzzy peaches candy!! heehee.
